Agavepunk's “PULQUEER delicioso” embarks on a journey to rediscover the deep-rooted ties between Queerness and pulque, unearthing the forgotten significances embedded in Mexican culture's core. The Agave plant's storied history, along with pulque, its derived drink, intertwines with Queerness: from revered sources of hydration and spirituality to subjects of persecution under Catholic dominance. Through this pop-up Pulquería, Agavepunk beckons attendees to embrace Queer history, celebrating the transformative magic intrinsic to both pulque and Queer identity.
